“The Vampire Diaries”: Katerina, Klaus, the curse and warlocks

About tonight’s “Vampire Diaries” episode:
So now we know Katherine’s (aka Katerina Petrova) history – and not surprisingly how she’s always been self-centered and ruthless.
Nina Dobrev is still making the most out of playing both Katherine and Elena.
A couple of the new characters introduced tonight were warlocks Luka (Bryton James) and his dad Jonas (Randy Goodwin).
Luka completely charmed Bonnie (Katerina Graham) – poor Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) looks to be left out in the cold again in the romance department – for now.
However, Jonas was shown to be an ally of someone very bad, so maybe Bonnie will end up in Jeremy’s arms after all.
How strong will the relationship between Rose (Lauren Cohan) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) become?
I foresee an unhappy future for Rose – and Damon might get his heart broken – a little – again.
Can Elena (Nina Dobrev) be saved from the evil Klaus?
Watching Damon and Stefan (Paul Wesley) figure out how to do it should be interesting – and the showdown between the Salvatores and Klaus looks to be stunning.
After a brief hiatus, the next new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” will air at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 on The CW.
