My niece was diagnoised when she was little also.
She is now 20, and recently was at ucstandford, and they
found that her heart stopped beating, which lead to a seizure. She had a pacemaker put in, and has been fine ever since.
I’m not saying it’s the same diagnosis, just thought it may be some useful information.
