Oklahoma cowboys took unscheduled “Amazing Race” tour, but are still contenders
Oklahoma cowboys Jet and Cord McCoy started out Leg 6 of “The Amazing Race” in third place. They even reached the first challenge in second place.
But then they got lost — twice — and fell to fifth place going into the Roadblock (rappeling into a winery) and to sixth place going into the Detour (searching a vineyard for a cluster of grapes).
“People pay thousands of dollars to get the tour we had today,” Cord said. “This was a scary day.”
The two brothers from Tupelo made up some ground in the grape vineyard, though, and arrived at the Pit Stop in fourth place.
Next up are stops in Seychelles (Leg 7) and Malaysia (Leg 8).
Upcoming episodes, which are taken from quotes made by the racers, are titled “Anonymous?” and “You’re Like Jason Bourne, Right?”
Sounds like something Jet or Cord McCoy might’ve said, doesn’t it? To find out, tune in to CBS at 7 p.m. Sundays.
