Daris doesn’t mind the battle scars from Week 9 of ‘The Biggest Loser’
Daris George lost some skin
in “The Biggest Loser” gym on Tuesday’s episode (March 16). But he didn’t mind the scraped elbows one bit when he saw the results of his strenuous workout.
“Ten pounds,” he said after his Week 9 weigh-in. “It makes the hard work a little bit more worth it when you actually see two digits on that scale.”
That was just his third week of double-digit weight loss since arriving at the ranch weighing 346 pounds. But he’s had three 9-pound weight-loss weeks and dropped six and seven pounds during the other three weigh-ins.
So in nine weeks on the NBC show, the 25-year-old from Ardmore has dropped 98 pounds and is down to 248.
