Oklahoma’s ‘Biggest Loser’ mom needs a new wardrobe

Cheryl George of Ardmore is planning a spring shopping spree.
She has changed dress sizes three times since stepping on “The Biggest Loser” ranch last September. And she hopes to reach her goal weight by the show’s season finale in May.
In the meantime, she is making due with clothes she picks up at discount stores. She was shown at the end of Tuesday’s episode (March 9) bagging up her big clothes and donating them to a local church.
“That was a big thing for me to get rid of those clothes,” Cheryl said in an NBC conference call after being voted off the show on Week 8.
“First of all, I can’t believe I used to wear those clothes. And I can’t imagine the thought of ever going back to that.”
Cheryl started “The Biggest Loser” at 227 pounds and was down to 182 after eight weeks. She has been exercising and eating right at home since then and is now at 164 pounds with a goal of reaching 135 by the show’s season finale.
“When I have finally come to my maintenance weight, I will definitely treat myself to a shopping spree,” Cheryl said. “Clothes and how I look are important to me.”
So where does she plan to shop?
“I’ve never been to Macy’s, so I’d like to go there. I don’t even know what kind of store it is, to tell you the truth.
“And there is a local store in town called Stephanie’s Boutique. The first time I went into that store, I was new in town and I was overweight. And they told me they didn’t have anything that would fit me.
“I’d like to go in there and purchase an outfit or two.”
