‘Handy Manny’ helps spread word about flu prevention
“Handy Manny” and is talking tools have an important message for their preschool friends — Wash Your Hands.
They will be spreading those words during a special “Handy Manny” segment airing at 8:25 a.m. Friday (Dec. 11, 2009) on the Disney Channel. And they hope their words will help prevent the spread of germs, especially during flu season.
For those who miss the “Handy Manny” segment on Friday, it can also be viewed online at www.PlayhouseDisney.com.
Even if you do catch it on Friday, go online anyway. Because the site will link to the Center for Disease Control’s flu prevention micro-site that features printable tips for parents on how to prevent and treat the flu.
