‘Hank’ has been pulled, but a few canceled shows get to play out on TV

Hank
Thank you, networks, for giving new shows a chance this season.
“The Beautiful Life: TBL” was taken off the air by The CW after two episodes, even though four more had already been filmed.
And “Hank” has been canceled after five episodes on ABC. Instead of airing the remaining five episodes already filmed, comedy repeats and holiday specials will air in that 7 p.m. Wednesday time slot starting Nov. 18.
But those are the only new shows this season to be pulled off the schedule suddenly.
Word is that no new episodes will be made of NBC’s “Trauma” (UPDATE: NBC has reversed its decision and has ordered three more episodes) and ABC’s “Eastwick.” But at least the networks are continuing to air everything the cast and crew put into those shows.
And for that, we TV viewers are truly thankful.

NOTE: Fox did pull the sophomore series “Dollhouse” from its November schedule, a late move that left the show in TV book schedules everywhere — and on The Oklahoman’s TV Week cover.
On Wedneday, the network announced that “Dollhouse” has been officially canceled, but all 13 episodes scheduled for its second season will air.
“Dolhouse” returns to the Fox lineup on Dec. 4 with back-to-back episodes. And since a few episodes remain to be filmed, series creator Joss Whedon will be able to tie up loose ends for the finale.

I hated to see it. HANK BEING CANCELED ON ABC. I thought it was the best show of the new season. Especially Kelsey Grammer on it. One of my favorite actors. What I saw of ‘Hank’ was such a good start for the season. ABC doesn’t know how to pick which sitcoms should be canceled.

I have been looking and waiting for “Hank to come back. Why in the world did they cancel it. It was such a good show. They hardly gave it a chance.
It had a lot of topics that many families could relate to today. Not like alot of the sitcoms they are showing now. Maybe because it wasn’t appealing to the young adult audience. Bring “Hank” back with his family and friends. Kelsey Grammer has a faithful following.
