Oklahoma Alert: Brooks & Dunn perform on “Invitation Only” Friday (Oct. 30) on CMT

   Invitation Only: Brooks & Dunn
   Country music duo Brooks & Dunn will perform greatest hits and new music on “Invitation Only: Brooks & Dunn” premiering at 9 p.m. Friday (Oct. 30) on CMT.
   The hour-long special was taped in Nashville just days after Ronnie Dunn, a Tulsa native, and Kix Brooks announced their split.
   In an informal question and answer session, Brooks & Dunn talk about reaching their decision to part ways after their tour in 2010. They also reminisce about their 20 years together and answer other questions from fans.
   The small studio audience was also treated to performances of hits “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and “My Maria,” “Neon Moon,” new releases “Honky Tonk Stomp” and “Cowgirls Don’t Cry” and more.

Happy Birthday, Brendan Fehr

Brendan Fehr   Oct. 29, 2009 — Brendan Jacob Joel Fehr, who played Dan Cooper on “CSI: Miami” (2005-08 on CBS), turns 32 today.
   He played Michael Guerin on “Roswell” (1999-2002).
   His first acting role was as Price Montague in a 1997 episode of “Breaker High.” He was 20.
   Best wishes to Brendan and everybody who shares this special day with him.

Glee” Season 1: Road To Sectionals debuts on DVD December 29.

William McKinley High School once had a champion glee club, but now they are floundering. That is when an idealistic Spanish teacher (Matthew Morrison, Music & Lyrics) takes up their cause, vowing to transform the rag-tag group of singers and dancers into champions.

“The Doctors” are seeking everyone’s opinion for daytime talk show

   Last month, “The Doctors” came back for a second season of medical talk on daytime TV.
   Although there are plenty of health concerns to address these days, the show’s producer’s want everyone’s input on topics to talk about this season.
   To make a suggestion for the show, go to www.producethedoctors.com. Lots of viewers have already submitted ideas for the show, and voting on topics that matter the most may also catch the attention of the show’s producers.
   Debbie from Wichita submitted an idea for a show about varicose veins, and that segment aired a few weeks ago. Other topics being considered for upcoming episodes include alternative medicines, women’s health, parenting and suggestions for celebrity guests.
   So produce an idea for “The Doctors” and/or vote on an idea for the show. Then tune in at 3 p.m. weekdays on KWTV-9 in Oklahoma City to learn about medical topics that are on a lot of people’s minds.

SYTYCD: Billy Bell drops out due to illness!

Top 20 dancer Billy Bell has left SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE due to illness and will be replaced by Brandon Dumlao, 21, a Hip Hop dancer from Concord, CA. Dumlao will join the Top 20 this week as they compete on the first two-hour performance show Tuesday, Oct. 27 (7 p.m.) on FOX.

“We are disappointed that Billy cannot continue dancing in the competition on the advice of his doctor and wish him a speedy recovery,” said executive producer/judge Nigel Lythgoe. “However, we are fortunate that Brandon Dumlao has agreed to return.”

Dumlao joins previously announced finalists – Phillip Attmore, Channing Cooke, Ariana Debose, Ashleigh Di Lello, Ryan Di Lello, Russell Ferguson, Mollee Gray, Karen Hauer, Kevin Hunte, Jakob Karr, Noelle Marsh, Pauline Mata, Kathryn McCormick, Legacy Perez, Bianca Revels, Peter Sabasino, Ellenore Scott, Victor Smalley and Nathan Trasoras – as they compete to become America’s Favorite Dancer.
