Want a chance to spin a wheel for prizes? Audition for “Wheel of Fortune”

“Wheel of Fortune” is coming to Oklahoma in search of contestants.
The show isn’t taping here, but the show’s Wheelmobile is stopping at Kickapoo Casino on Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 10-11, 2009). And with the 39-foot Winnebago comes the opportunity to fill out “Wheel of Fortune” applications and play a simulated version of the game for a chance to win prizes.
“Wheel of Fortune” representatives will begin handing out applications at noon each day, and contestants will be randomly selected to play the show’s speed-up round on stage.
Stage shows will be conducted at 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m. each day underneath a tent in the parking lot adjacent to Kickapoo Casino (25230 E. Highway 62 in Harrah). Each show will last about an hour, and contestants will be called up to the stage in groups of five to play the game.
Everyone who participates in the stage shows will be evaluated as a potential contestant for “Wheel” and win a prize. So be energetic, enthusiastic and fun, because this audition could result in more than a “Wheel of Fortune” hat, t-shirt or duffle bag.
“Wheel of Fortune” airs weeknights at 6:30 p.m. on KOCO-5. For more information on the Wheelmobile event, visit www.wheeloffortune.com.
