First “Glee” soundtrack to be released Nov. 3

Whether you’re a “Glee” fan who’s been inspired to sing along or just listen in delight, rejoice because the first soundtrack from the new Fox series will be released on Nov. 3.
“Glee: The Music, Volume 1” is the first in a series of soundtracks to feature songs heard in the first season of the show.
The diversity of the music in “Glee” provides something for everyone. For example, in tonight’s season premiere episode at 8 p.m. on Fox, the songs include Kanye West’s “Gold Digger,” Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It,” Rihanna’s “Take a Bow,” Dionne Warwick’s “I Say a Little Prayer,” Chic’s “Le Freak” and Eric Carmen’s “All By Myself.”
“Glee” is about McKinley High School teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) trying to boost the glee club, despite being thwarted by cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), while featuring a variety of characters who are members of the glee club.

Glee is the most amazing show ever. Finally there is a show dedicated to Musical Theatre and the Theatre arts!! Can’t wait to hear Defying Gravity seeing as it is my all time favorite song.
