NBC auditioning a cappella groups for ‘The Sing-Off’
Attention all a cappella singing groups. NBC needs competitors for “The Sing-Off.”
The network will hold auditions for its new competition series beginning next week. Casting producers will be in New York City on Sept. 12, Chicago on Sept. 14, Atlanta on Sept. 16 and Los Angeles on Sept. 19.
In “The Sing-Off,” a cappella groups will compete for a Sony Recording Contract and national acclaim. Groups will rehearse and sing the world’s most popular songs, arranged and performed with no lip-synching and no back-up bands.
One group will be eliminated each episode, and America’s vote will decide which group will walk away with the ultimate prize.
Groups must consist of four to ten members, and all members must be 18 or older. For more information, go to www.nbc.com/casting.
