Disney Family Movies offer viewers free weekend
In January, a subscription video-on-demand
service dedicated to Disney films was launched. This weekend, viewers can check it out for free.
Phylicia Rashad (”The Cosby Show”) will host the free Disney Family Movies preview that runs Thursday (Sept. 3) through Monday (Sept. 7) on Cox,
U-verse, Charter, Comcast, Suddenlink, Verizon FiOs and TVN affiliates.
The preview will feature a variety of classic and contemporary Disney films, including the musical “Mary Poppins” starring Julie Andrews, the live-action “101 Dalmations” movie starring Glenn Close and the animated adaptation of “Tarzan.”
Disney Family Movies, which normally costs $5.99 a month, features unlimited access to a selection of classic and contemporary films and animated shorts from The Walt Disney Studios. Each title remains in rotation for about a month, with new movies being added every week.
To sign up for the free preview weekend, contact your local cable provider.
