Networks pay tribute to Ted Kennedy through specials

 Obit Ted Kennedy  Aug. 26, 2009 — Several networks
will preempt regularly scheduled primetime programming to air specials in remembrance of Senator Ted Kennedy, who died of brain cancer late Tuesday at age 77.
   ••ABC will air “ABC News Special:  Remembering Ted Kennedy” at 9:01 p.m. today. Diane Sawyer and Charles Gibson will anchor the special.
   ••MSNBC will air “The Kennedy Brothers: A Hardball Documentary” at 8 p.m. today. It will be rebroadcast at 6 p.m. Thursday.
   ••BIO Channel will air “BIO Remembers: Ted Kennedy” at 8 p.m. Thursday.
   ••OETA Oklahoma will air “The Kennedys: American Experience” at 7 p.m. Thursday.
