Casting for “America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 14 now underway
What would you do if the show
“America’s Next Top Model” made you famous?
That’s one of the questions potential contestants for Cycle 14 of the show have to answer on the application form. And that’s just one of the requirements in the audition process, which is now underway.
Although Cycle 13 of “America’s Next Top Model” doesn’t premiere until Sept. 9 on The CW, producers are already holding casting calls for next season, which is scheduled to begin filming in late September.
So everyone who wants the opportunity to compete for a grand prize that includes a modeling contract with a top agency (and possibly become famous), take note of the following:
•• Casting calls will be held in Chicago (Aug. 29), Denver (Sept. 2), Las Vegas (Sept. 5), Houston (Sept. 12) and Los Angeles (Sept. 19).
•• Applicants must be women between the ages of 18 and 27 who are at least 5-foot-7 in height (although producers reserve the right to make case-by-case exceptions, as they are looking for a variety of models, including plus-size models.)
•• A completed application form must be accompanied by a videotape (three minutes or less on VHS or DVD) and three photos (close-up, full-length and in a swimsuit).
•• For those unable to attend a casting call, mail everything to America’s Next Top Model (3), 2801 Ocean Park Boulevard, Santa Monica, California 90405. The (3) indicates that Texas is the location closest to your home. The other codes are (1) New York, (2) California and (4) Florida.
And keep this in mind: Producers are looking for nine to 14 individuals who are articulate, interesting and exhibit enthusiasm for the series, as well as a willingness to share their most private thoughts in an open forum of strangers.
Those selected will have little or no privacy, however, as contestants will stay in a house that is extensively outfitted with video and audio recording devices that will record and broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I Like this post but i agree with the other comment about the short people. i’m 16 right now but when im older i wanted to see if i could try out, but i just saw the 5-foot-7 thing…yeahh..im shorter.

I love the show, i never missed a episode of “ANTM” but i wish they will come up with a concept of the show with people who are 29 to 39 years of age and dream of becoming models too. i would love especially if the give opportunity to people who are short in height and dream to become models some day.
I am so excited the changed the height requirment im exactly 5’7″ and I have always wanted to at least attempt to be on the show. I didnt realize they change it till now so next season I am going to give it a whirl.

i have watched every episode and i think i would be perfect for cycle 14 i am 18 years old and i am exactly 5’7 but my personality makes me 6′ feet tall..i would love the opportunity to be on America’s Next Top Model

I agree with Sulix..CT…even if there was something in tri-state area.. But…. What is most important…What is the deadline? It sucks butt that I happened to check the website for the day of the casting in California…HMMM No day off from work .They already saw me bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning, how was I going to pull the all of sudden 24 hour flu sure but not even a pot to peee in to get a ticket..I tried clicking my heels three times…Yeah, I still have to work on that. I really, did I mention really need to locate the last day for submissions. I have to borrow someones bifocals if it is posted because it apparently went over my head.
How about a season of all plus size models….???

I am 35-year old originated Thai, and I am still interested to join in the American Next top model I do not know that would be an exception or not. I am serious about this chance.

i know it will probably never happen.. but i want to be on the show so bad, or to ust be a model. but im only 17 as of now. i’d do anything for a career in modeling. and im 5’10. i know i would be a great one
Heres an idea, instead of a season with short girls, how about a season of girls over the age 23. Theres a lot of beautiful talent out there who feels too old for the modeling industry. If they havent gotten “in” yet its nearly impossible for us.

I really hope they do another show for the shorter girls. I really would love to try out for this. I know i can do this.Besides,hasn’t anyone ever heard that big things come in small packages?!

I think I’m going to try anyways. I’m only 5’2 but I’ve wanted this for a very,very long time and I think if I try my best I can make it. Even if I have to wait for 5’7 and under to reappear!

It would be nice if they would do a show for women 28 and older. I’m 30 and have always wanted to do modeling but I have children and thought it would be too demanding. I feel like I’m getting too old now but would love the chance to compete because I can definitely do it. I was gonna audition in Chicago until I found out the cut off was 27. :(
