Come on down for ‘The Price Is Right’ national contestant search
“The Price Is Right” is holding
a casting call near Dallas on Saturday. And at least one person who shows up is guaranteed a spot on contestants’ row on the show.
This is the show’s first national contestant search, and Saturday’s stop is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stone Mountain Carpet (825 Airport Freeway) in Hurst, Texas. Casting producers will be in Detroit, Pittsburgh and Yonkers, N.Y., today Aug. 18) and also plan to hold auditions in Johnson City, N.Y. on Thursday and San Francisco on Aug. 29.
Three semifinalists from each location will be flown to Los Angeles to attend a taping of the game show between September and February. And a semifinalist from each site will be told to “come on down” to bidder’s row during the show’s taping.

I auditioned for the Price is Right In Hammond Indiana in July but I never heard when all of this was going to end and when they going to choose the 3 people. If you were to win, are you suppose to be expecting an email of some sort or by phone? I was just curious. Not that I think I’m going to get chosen but its still fun to have a dream for a little while until it all ends. :)
