  MACYS FASHION SHOW Jimmy Smits July 9, 2009 — Jimmy L. Smits, who
played Det. Bobby Simone on “NYPD Blue” (1994-2004), turns 54 today.
   He played Congressman Matthew Santos on “The West Wing” (2004-06).
   His first television appearance was as Eddie Rivera in a 1984 episode of “Miami Vice.” He was 29.
   Best wishes to Jimmy and everybody who shares this special day with him.
