“Stud Finder” search underway for DIY’s next home improvement star
Food Network has “The Next Food Network Star.” DIY Network has a “Stud Finder” search.
And DIY doesn’t limit the number of contenders in its search for America’s next home improvement star. All outgoing home enthusiasts and passionate do-it-yourselfers are invited to apply.
Simply go online to www.DIYnetwork.com and upload video and photos explaining why you deserve your own DIY Network show.
The “Stud Finder” search is open for submissions until July 13, and the winner will receive the opportunity to star in a new DIY series.
From all the videos submitted, DIY Network will select four finalists, while viewers will choose a fifth finalist in a round of online voting through Aug. 31.The five finalists will compete in a head-to-head competition that will end in the naming of the network’s newest home improvement star.
DIY Network (channel 111 on Dish Network, 171 on Cox Digital Cable, 230 on Direct TV, 454 on U-verse) will document the “Stud Finder” search for an hour-long special airing in October.
