Sing with ‘Glee’ and its guest stars
“Glee” has got great guest stars lined
up for its first season, which starts Sept. 16 on Fox.
Tony winner (and Oklahoma native) Kristin Chenoweth is scheduled to appear. So is Grammy winner Eve. And singer Josh Groban. And actor Victor Garber, who can carry a tune, as well.
In the show’s fourth episode, Chenoweth will play April, a former McKinley High School student who never graduated. When Will Schuester, head of the glee club, finds out that a competitor has older people on its team, he asks April to join his club.
“I’d love to come back and do more,” Chenoweth said. “It’s written in a way that I could, but I’ll just leave that out there like a lingering B-flat.”
Eve will be in two episodes as the coach of a rival glee club that could threaten McKinley High’s chances of winning big. Josh Groban will play a version of himself (a jerk on the show, a personable guy in real life) and Garber will play Will Schuester’s father.
