Parents, take note: “Parenthood” will premiere Sept. 23 on NBC.

8:30 p.m. — “Community” (series premiere – moves to 7 p.m. Thursdays on Oct. 
9 p.m. — “The Jay Leno Show”
Monday, Sept. 21
7 p.m. — “Heroes” (two hour premiere)

Wednesday, Sept. 23
7 p.m. — “Mercy” (Due to a reported medical evaluation for star Maura Tierney, “Parenthood” has been delayed until midseason).
