Lifetime Network’s online destination offers does more than promote its shows. It provides entertainment, infomation and opportunities.
More than a dozen online tributes are posted on the site under the banner of “Homecoming: Real Army Wives.” These tributes were filmed at he Fort Hood U.S. Army base in Texas and feature wives whose husbands have been deployed to Iraq. In addition to these personal stories, visitors to the site can post comments and share thoughts about loved ones serving in the military.
At myLifetime.com, visitors can also play “Spliterature: Army Wives Edition,” a fast-paced word game that tests your smarts about the show.
And the “Salute Beauty Sweepstakes” runs through July 5. Enter very day for a chance to win a Mary Kay beauty prize pack that includes cosmetics and an “Army Wives” Season 2 DVD. The grand prize winner will receive a Hawaii vacation for two, plus $5,000 cash.
