‘I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant’ features Enid woman

dhc   Elizabeth Hess from Enid got the surprise of a lifetime last February, and she shares her story on Discovery Health’s “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” series airing at 8 p.m. Tuesday (June 16).
   The 19-year-old college freshman had recently put on some extra weight, but she simply attributed it to gaining the “freshman 15.” But four months ago, she woke up in the middle of the night with sudden and debilitating stomach cramps. She made it to the bathroom, where a discharge sends her into shock and her roommate into action to deliver her surprise baby.
   Each episode of the 10-part medical docu-drama follows the stories of women’s unknown pregnancies through reenactments and interviews. Discovery Health airs on channel 106 on Cox Digital Cable, 189 on Dish Network, 256 on U-verse, 279 on DirecTV.
