‘Generation Next’ to feature Oklahomans on NPR’s ‘Morning Edition’ and ‘NewsHour’
Quentin Johnson, who was born and raised on
a cattle farm in Oklahoma, will be featured on National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition” on Monday (June 15).
In the “Generation Next” segment, Johnson talks about getting trained in wind energy. He says he never gave a thought to alternative energy before, but now he’s fully vested in its success.
It is one of a series of reports by broadcast journalist Judy Woodruff. She is profiling young adults in various parts of the country who are adapting to economic change, making sacrifices and trying to stay optimistic in uncertain times.
Woodruff will also report on the new wind turbine technology program at Oklahoma State University for a segment airing June 29 on “The NewsHour With Jim Lehrer. Nathan Wright and Casey Wenzel are among the first students to participate in the new degree program
