Bryan Vardeman, a graduate of Lawton MacArthur High School, is among the 30 bachelors who will vie for Jillian Harris’ attention on the new season of “The Bachelorette.”
The fifth edition of the show begins at 8:02 p.m. May 18 on ABC. “The Bachelorette” will move to its regular time at 7 p.m. Mondays beginning May 25.
Bryan, described in an ABC press release as “a hunky high school coach from Oklahoma,” literally scoops Jillian up in his arms to start the evening on the premiere episode.
He decked guys during his football playing days at Oklahoma State University, snagging five solo tackles from his strong safety position during the 2002 season.
But now he is competing for the affections of “The Bachelorette.” Tune in May 18 to see if Jillian presents him with one of the first 20 roses.
