Happy Birthday, Melissa Gilbert
May 8, 2009 — Melissa Ellen Gilbert,
who played Laura Ingalls on “Little House on the Prairie” (1974-83 on NBC), turns 45 today.
She starred in the Hallmark Channel original movies “Thicker Than Water” (2005) and “Sacrifies of the Heart” (2007).
Her first acting role was as Spratt’s Child in a 1972 episode of “Gunsmoke” (episode titled “The Judgement”). She was 8.
Best wishes to Melissa and everybody who shares this special day with her.
