‘American Idol’ tour set for Season 8 finalists

“American Idol” is winding down. But the Season 8 finale May 19 and 20 on Fox will not be the last chance to hear the top contestants sing.
This season’s top 10 “Idols” will perform in 50 cities across the country this summer, and tickets for “American Idols Live! Tour 2009″ go on sale Saturday (May 9). Go to www.ticketmaster.com, www.americanidol.com or www.aeglive.com for ticket information.
The tour kicks off July 5 in Portland, Ore., stops at Tulsa’s BOK Center on July 24 and ends Sept. 15 in Manchester, N.H.
Making the tour trip will be Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre.
