‘The Biggest Loser,’ Pound for Pound Challenge almost over

 pfp_logo  “The Biggest Loser” is
winding down on NBC, with the Season 7 finale scheduled to air May 12.
The deadline to report pounds lost for the Pound for Pound Challenge is May 5. So everybody who pledged to lose weight for a good cause should report their weight loss at www.PFPChallenge.com or www.biggestloser.com in the next few days to ensure it will result in a donation to a local food bank.
The Pound For Pound Challenge is matching every pound of weight loss with a 10-cent donation to Feeding America. Groceries will be distributed to food banks based on zip codes of participants.
Congratulations to Tara, Mike, Ron, Filipe and Helen for making it to the top five on “The Biggest Loser.” And thanks to everyone making every pound count to help the hunger crisis in America.

I actually never thought I’d be into this show, but I saw one of the contestants, Kristin Steede on the TODAY Show this morning and her story truly was inspirational and I am definitely going to start watching. Check out the interview about her experience on The biggest Interview – you can view it using the TODAY Show’s iPhone app: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=309546027&mt=8

Istarted watching the show and lost 29 pounds, thank you biggest loser show.

Is there another sponsored ‘Pound for Pound Challenge’? Just tuned in to the Biggest Loser show and missed the contest. This charitable challenge should be continued. What a wonderful idea!! Maralyn
