Sprout Valentine’s Day opportunities for preschoolers

Want to send your Valetine a special message that will be on TV?
That is the opportunity that the PBS Kids Sprout network is giving preschoolers.
Preschoolers and their parents can visit www.SproutOnline.com to send Valentine’s Day messages that will be featured in a continuous on-air crawl on Saturday (Feb. 14).
But that’s not all. Sprout online also has printable Valentine’s Day cards and other crafts and games for preschoolers to do. And children ages 2-6 are eligible for Sprout’s “We Heart Your Videos” contest for a chance to win the new “Thomas & Friends” DVD or possibly a trip for four to see a local performance of “Thomas & Friends LIVE! On Stage.”
All parents need to do is upload a video of their child doing something he or she loves to do, such as singing, dancing, blowing bubbles or whatever their hearts desire. Submission deadline is Monday (Feb. 16). Daily winners will be announced March 2 through 5 on Sprout, with the grand prize winner being revealed March 6.
Sprout (channel 149 on Cox Digital Cable and 295 on Direct TV) is indeed a 24-hour preschool destination available on television and online for children ages 2-5 and their parents and caregivers.
