Happy Birthday, Debbie Allen
Jan. 16, 2009 – Deborrah Kaye Allen, who played Lydia Grant on “Fame” (1982-87 syndicated series), turns 59 today.
Her most recent TV work is directing episodes of “Everybody Hates Chris” (10 episodes from 2006-08).
Her first acting role was as Diana Buchanan on “Good Times” (two episodes in 1976). She was 26.
Best wishes to Debbie and everybody who shares this special day with her.
