Invitation from Discovery’s “Wreckreation Nation”

Wreckreation Nation   Have a bizarre hometown tradition or unusual event coming up? Share it with the Discovery Channel.
Dave Mordal, host of the network’s new series “Wreckreation Nation,” is traveling the country in search of peculiar pastimes. Already, he has paddled a cardboat boat in Heber Springs, Ark., attended an alligator wrestling school in Mosca, Colo., and taken part in an Iowa/Illinois tug of war across the Mississippi River (check out Discovery Channel Photo at right).
And the series hasn’t even started yet. It premieres Jan. 6 (9 p.m., right after “Dirty Jobs”).
It’s not too late to submit ideas for the show, however. Go to http://dsc.stage.discovery.com/tv/wreckreation-nation/submit.html to tell Mordal about wacky  competitions or interesting activities in your area. He is a fun-seeker (and was a finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”) and may decide to check it out.
And remember to check out his show. It’s one way to have a good time on someone else’s dime.
