Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways is under way
Daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres gives away prizes to her studio audience all the time. But this time of year, she extends her gift giving to viewers at home.
And to make sure as many people as possible can get in on the giveaways, there are multiple ways to win.
The easiest way is to visit www.ellentv.com every day and enter “Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways.” You can also join the online Ellen Community for a chance to win gift packages, and those who become a fan of Ellen’s on facebook could win airline tickets and seats for Ellen’s “12 Days of Giveaways” shows. Further details can be found at www.ellentv.com/.
And be sure to enter “Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways Sweepstakes” at www.valpak.com/. You have to watch the show every day and enter the name of the guest star on that day’s show, but it will be worth $15,000 to one lucky viewer. The grand prize winner will receive every prize given away on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” from Dec. 4-19, and Ellen will be calling to say congratulations.

Watch your show alot. My daughter is out of work. Her boyfriend of seven yrs, is also. Last year their trailer had burned badly. They live in her boyfriends boat in the back yard. He got the boat when they both worked. His son and I (mother)of girlfriend live inside trailer. They both could use help to fix the trailer,so it is homeworthy. They have heaterters to keep house warm for us. Furnace does not work. washer and dryer are barely woking.
I know this alot to ask even of you Ellen. You help so many.
Thanks for listening, anyway!! May you be blessed,Always
Sue
Dear Ellen, I watch your show everyday. I just wanted to tell you that watching your show is my only requirement for the day. I lost my husband 4 years ago after 38 years of marriage. I hope you and your spouse enjoy your time together, because it ends before you know it. I continue to work 3 days aweek, just to make ends meet. My home this summer was hit by lighting.I lost my electric appliances and replaced all except for my dryer. SO, I have to hang clothes outside on clothesline or if can afford it go to laundramat.I know it is getting cold out of doors and its hard to keep hanging outside, but God will give me strength to continue doing whatever I need to do.I enjoy your dancing and games with audiences. I wanted to just tell you that God gave you blessing of a loving heart for everyone and thing(like helping animals).
HI Ellen! I watch your show everyday that I am home. I love to see poeple helping people and you do so on an ongoing basis. I hope I don’t miss out too much playing daily to win during the twelve days of Christmas Giveaway. I am the food pantry coordinator for my Church on Wednesdays
and I have food pick-ups at the main distribution site on some Tuesdays. I am on permanent disability but I, also try to help others, and if I win I intend to give the gifts to my daughter and her children who live in Charlotte, NC. She is having a rough time right about now with four children and her going through a depression since she had her last baby in August. Love You and all that you do.
Keep up the good work and may God continue to Bless you.
P.S. Loved the O Magazine Holiday issue.

For those inquiring about tickets to a taping of a 12 days show, it appears as though tickets were never available to those who requested December taping dates via the calendar on the website.
As a summary, on The Ellen Show website it was indicated that tickets to tapings of Ellen’s 12 days of giveaways shows were going to be available online, and the online information indicated first come, first served. In following the over 1000 postings (which were taken down from the Ellen show website yesterday), many people had indicated that they applied for the 12 days tickets within seconds, or minutes of the December tickets being listed as “available” – however none had indicated that they had been offered tickets. The fact that there were over 1000 postings, and only a couple of people stated that they received tickets is amazing, especially since the few 12 days tickets that people said they received were based on applications for January dates, and not applications for December dates, In past years NUMEROUS people posted on these boards that they received tickets, so it’s curious that this year, not a single person who applied for tickets in the manner described on the website had posted that they received confirmed tickets to a taping of a 12 days show. The website (up until yesterday) listed details regarding applying for tickets, but it appears that The Ellen Show has not followed their own rules regarding the distribution of tickets.
Based on the above information, it appears that The Ellen Show has taken steps to maximize the number of hits on the website, and leads one to wonder whether there were ever any 12 day tickets available via the ticket requesting process described on The Ellen Show website.
The ethics of Ellen and her staff relative to the advertisement and distribution of tickets is in question. Additionally, when concerns regarding the above are brought to the attention of Ellen staff and Warner Bros, their solution seems to be to take down the website page regarding the 12 days and the 1000 plus posts, instead of being honest with the audience and attempting to address the many valid concerns regarding this year’s ticket distribution process. It is very unfortunate that Ellen and her staff have not been ethical or honest with The Ellen Show audience.

Us old people watch every day but we do”nt see any old people winning. We are not good at this as some of the young people are. Maybe we will get good at it in time.We watch your show about every day and we Love it. Merry Christmas
i truly would appreciate your help just to give my grandchildren a half-decent christmas. my husband and i watch your show every day and it brings us an hour of joy in our time of financial hardship since we watch you on a 15 inch screen since our larger tv went awry and we can’t even afford to get it fixed at this time; not to mention our car keeps breaking down and any extra cash we think we might have ends up getting the car fixed. sometimes we can’t even afford to buy food because of the car.
we love your show, your attitude just gives us a few moments of happiness and we can’t wait for the time your show is broadcast in our area!!!
we love you so much much that we even got our daughter to watch your show and now she looks forward to seeing it everyday.
we hope your holidays are the greatest especially now that you have a child to spend it with….after all Christmas is for children.
