Bonjour, “Camp Rock”

Camp Rock logo   “Camp Rock” is having a sing-a-long in French and Spanish — and even Danish.
   Tune in to the Disney Channel between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 19 for 16 renditions of popular songs from “Camp Rock” performed in multiple languages by international recording artists.
   France’s Sheryne performs “This Is Me.” So do Tomine Malmquist Harket and Bjorn Muri from Norway, Julianne and Miguel from the Philippines, Ewa Farna and Kuba Moleda from Poland and Sine Vig Kjaergaard and Allan Hyde from Denmark.
   Mexico’s Carla Medina sings “Two Stars.” So do Ismael from Spain and Thays Gorga from Brazil.
   The other videos feature “We Rock” by a local ensemble from India, “Here I Am” by Brad Kavanaugh from the United Kingdom, “Hasta La Vista” by a local ensemble from Singapore and “Start the Party” by Spain’s Ismael.
   The international videos will air prior to an encore telecast of “Camp Rock” (7-9 p.m. on Dec. 19). Airing between breaks in the movie will be behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast and international recording artists.

Tomine Malmquist Harket from Norway happens to be the daughter of Morten Harket ; leadsinger of the Norwegian group a-ha, bestknown for their single Take on me.
