“Leverage” loot up for grabs
Like playing games? Like watching TV? Like winning money? Check out “Leverage.”
The series premieres at 9 p.m. Sunday on TNT and then moves into its regular timeslot at 9 p.m. Tuesday. And the “Get Ready to Get Even” game will launch at www.LeverageHQ.com in conjunction with Sunday’s commercial-free premiere.
“Leverage” follows a team of thieves, hackers and grifters who seek revenge against those who use power and wealth to victimize others. It stars Oscar winner Timothy Hutton (”Ordinary People”), Oklahoma actor Christian Kane (”Angel”), Beth Riesgraf (”My Name Is Earl”), Gina Bellman (”Jekyll”) and Aldis Hodge (”Friday Night Lights”)(pictured in TNT Photo above).
The “Get Ready to Get Even” game involves the “Leverage” team’s attempt to plant $100,000 in bribe money in the office of a corrupt executive. But they are double-crossed and leave the money stashed in the trunk of a car. Game players have 11 missions to complete over the course of the series to recover the cash.
Players who complete a mission will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win $100,000. The game ends Feb. 25. For further details, go to www.LeverageHQ.com/.
