“Handy Manny” is a winner!

Handy Manny   “Handy Manny” and is talking tools are friends to the many preschoolers. Disney Channel’s animated series is also a favorite of the Environmental Media Association.
During the 18th Annual Environmental Media Awards held Nov. 13 in Los Angeles, “Handy Manny” was honored with an Environmental Media Award for Best Children’s Live Action/Animated Television Program.
The episode that caught the Association’s attention was titled “Sculptor Manny/Manny Goes Solar” and featured storylines on recycling and solar energy. It was written by Sheila Dinsmore and Mike Rabb.
Wilmer Valderrama, best known as Fez on “That ’70s Show” but now the voice of Manny Garcia in “Handy Manny,” attended the ceremony.
“Handy Manny” (Disney Channel Photo at right) will continue its efforts to please preschoolers and the Environment Media Association with upcoming episodes showcasing important themes for families.
So set the DVR of VCR for 8 a.m. weekdays on the Disney Channel so as not to miss an episode. (Members of the Environmental Media Association should not miss the Dec. 3 episode that focuses on water conservation).

I didn’t see the media awards but when my husband and I found out it who did the voice of Hanny Manny we were amazed. Hanny Manny is my sons’ favorite show. That 70’s show used to be my husband and I favorite show. Fez was one of my favorite characters. It just goes to show how good of an actor he is.
