Great news for “Facts of Life” fans
One of the Eastland girls from “The Facts of Life” is going to be a TV mother.
That would be Nancy McKeon (Jo), and she has signed up to play Sonny’s mom in the new Disney Channel series “Sonny With a Chance.” Production is underway and the show is scheduled to premiere in early 2009.
Demi Lovato (“Camp Rock”) will play Sonny, a talented Midwestern girl who is cast in a popular sketch comedy called “So Random.” The series will follow Sonny, her family and new friends in Los Angeles and at the studio.
“Sonny With a Chance” will be a show-within-a-show, complete with fully-produced comedy sketches.
Sounds like a perfect venue for reuniting Jo with Blair, Natalie and Tootie. They were, after all, an actress (Tootie), a writer (Natalie) and a natural beauty with brilliant ideas (Blair).

Nancy McKeon Is Still A Beauty! I have the facts of life on right now and I’d love to have met her, maybe still will some day if she’s ever near eastern Canada. I’d love to say hi and get an autograph, but I’d really like to tell her that she got me through some rough times growing up. The Facts Of Life Was a routine of escape for me. Much Love Nancy McKeon, cant wait to see more of you! ;)
