NBC invites celebrities, viewers to chime in
Who can hum the NBC theme? It’s just three notes, G-E-C.
The Flaming Lips are going to give their personal touch to the NBC chime in the network’s on-going promotional campaign.
So are several other musical artists, including B.B. King (he will play the musical notes on the guitar), Richie Sambora, Clint Black and the B-52s.
NBC will also ask viewers to hum a few bars (three, actually). Beginning next year, you can go to www.NBC.com and submit your rendition for a chance to have your chiming talents featured on NBC.
