Oklahoma actress gets new series

childrens-hospital.jpg   Two-time Emmy winner Megan Mullally from “Will & Grace” honed her acting skills at Casady High School and Lyric Theatre, among other places. Now she’s taking her talent to the web.
She has joined the cast of the new web series “Children’s Hospital” that will premiere on TheWB.com in December. A trailer of the comedy that lampoons the medical show genre, can be viewed at www.TheWB.com/.
Rob Corddry (”What Happens in Vegas”) created, wrote and directed the web series. He also stars in it, along with Lake Bell (upcoming feature film “Pride and Glory”), Ken Marino (“Veronica Mars”), Erinn Hayes (“Worst Week”), Rob Huebel (“Human Giant”), Jason Sudeikis (“Saturday Night Live”), David Wain (“The State”), Nathan Corddry (“Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”), Ed Helms (“The Office”), Nick Kroll (upcoming feature “I Love You, Man”) and Mullally as “The Chief.”
“Children’s Hospital” episodes, which are about five minutes long, center around an oversexed medical staff at a hospital for children in life-threatening situations. No medical condition is too severe to distract these doctors from their need to flirt, gossip, make out, talk about sex, show their underwear and more — all in front of the young patients and their parents.
