“Ask This Old House” experts offer energy-saving tips

Ask This Old House Crew   Homeowners wanting to save on electric bills need to save this date — Nov. 13.
   That’s when the PBS series “Ask This Old House” will devote an episode to making homes energy efficient.
   The episode will feature: 
   Plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey helping a homeowner reduce his heating costs by installing a weather-responsive control on his boiler.
  Landscape contractor Roger Cook sharing tips on reducing energy costs with unique landscaping ideas.
  General contractor Tom Silva showing a homeowner how to keep things cool in the summer months with a whole house fan.
   So use a little electricity at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13, turn the TV to OETA-13 in Oklahoma City and learn how to save a bit on that next bill.
