Happy Birthday, Danny Cooksey
Nov. 2, 2008 — Daniel Ray Cooksey Jr., who played Sam McKinney on “Diff’rent Strokes” (1984-86 on NBC), turns 33 today.
He was born in Moore and moved to Los Angeles in 1980 with his mother to pursue a career singing country music.
His most recent acting role is as Clearberg in the 2009 film “DaZe: Vol. Too — NonSeNse” (currently in post-production).
His first acting role was as Terry Lee on “The Dukes of Hazzard” (1983 episode titled “A Boy’s Best Friend”). He was 8.
