Happy Birthday, George Wendt
Oct. 17, 2008 — George Robert Wendt, who played Norm Peterson on “Cheers” (1982-93 on NBC), turns 60 today.
His most recent TV role was as Cliff Cooper in the British comedy series “The Green Green Grass” (2007 episode titled “The Special Relationship”).
His first acting role was as a student in the 1980 movie “Somewhere in Time.” He was 32.
Best wishes to George and everybody who shares this special day with him.
