Happy Birthday, Penny Marshall

Penny Marshall   Oct. 15, 2008 — Carole Penny Marshall, who played Laverne DeFazio on “Laverne & Shirley” (1976-83 on ABC), turns 65 today.
   Her most recent role was as Bolo Executive in the 2007 movie “Blonde Ambition.”
   Her first acting role was as Tina in the 1968 movie “The Savage Seven.” She was 25.
   Best wishes to Penny and everybody who shares this special day with her.
