Jonas Brothers video debuts on Disney
Network Press Release …
Disney Channel will feature the world premiere of the Jonas Brothers’ music video, “Lovebug,” from their Platinum album, “A Little Bit Longer,” at 7:55 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 19).
An exclusive look at the making of the video will also be presented throughout the evening (between 7 and 8 p.m.) during episodes of “Hannah Montana” and “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
“Lovebug,” an acoustic ballad with a rock crescendo, was written by Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas. It was produced by John Fields. Its music video, directed by Philip Andelman (who directed music videos for John Mayer and Demi Lovato), is a period piece that depicts the love story between a young woman and a soldier as he’s preparing to deploy to war. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas portray multiple characters, including members of a ballroom band. A sweeping dance number, vintage wardrobe and cars bring the Jonas Brothers’ vision to life. Camilla Belle (“10,000 BC”) and Josh Boswell also star.
Jonas Brothers starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock,” which has been seen by over 69 million total viewers worldwide.
Jonas Brothers’ third album, “A Little Bit Longer,” debuted at #1 and has since shipped Platinum. It released this month in the UK. With its debut, they became the first group ever to have three albums in the Top 10 in a single week (it joined their Jonas Brothers CD and the “Camp Rock” soundtrack). They are in production now on “Jonas,” a series scheduled for premiere in 2009 on Disney Channel.
