Watch microseries “RPM,” maybe win a car

Johnathon Schaech   TNT is encouraging viewers to check out its new crime thriller microseries “RPM.”
   The series premieres Oct. 21 and the “Lincoln RPM Sweepstakes” that gives viewers a chance to win a new 2009 Lincoln MKS begins Oct. 17. For more details about the sweepstakes, go to www.tnt.tv.
   Here are more details about “RPM”:
   Johnathon Schaech (”Prom Night”, pictured at right), Lori Heuring (”Runaway Jury”) and Brian White (”The Shield”) star in the microseries, which consists of 20 two-minute episodes.
   “RPM” centers on Reed P. Marks (Schaech), a husband and father of two who is looking to move past his former career as a homicide detective and the dangers it imposed on him and his family. 
   With one phone call from his former colleague, Detective Shawn Watkins (White), Reed is compelled to help solve a murder investigation linked to a case from four years ago. 
   Confronted with his past, he is determined to help catch the suspect over the course of only a few days utilizing his Lincoln MKS to track down the suspect.
   “RPM” will air within commercial breaks during the 7 and 8 p.m. episodes of “Law & Order” on Oct. 21 and Oct. 29. All four “L&O” episodes will include an installment of “RPM” within all five commercial breaks each hour.
