TV Talk: Oct. 12-18
The Oklahoman’s TV Talk personalities Penny Soldan and Heather Warlick tape a weekly video for Newsok.tv that highlights upcoming TV programs worth watching.
They’re not fast talkers, but just in case you didn’t catch all the information for a show of interest, here is their script for the week of Oct. 12:
P: Hi, I’m Penny Soldan, this is Heather Warlick and this is TV Talk, The Oklahoman’s weekly countdown of the Top 10 programs worth watching — or at least setting the DVR or VCR for.
H: No. 10 is one you’ll just have to take our word for, because Pat Sajak and Vanna White won’t say what’s going to happen. But we hear that history will be made on Tuesday’s episode of “Wheel of Fortune” airing at 6:30 p.m. on KOCO channel 5.
P: No. 9 is “Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling” at 7 p.m. Saturday on CMT, and we do have details on that. Contestants include NBA player Dennis Rodman, Erin Murphy from “Bewitched”, Todd Bridges from “Diff’rent Strokes” and pop singer Tiffany.
H: A more serious sports program takes the No. 8 spot. “Frosted Pink With a Twist” airing at 3 p.m. Sunday on KOCO channel 5 feature gymnasts from, the Beijing Summer Olympics performing alongside musical icons including Carole King and Cyndi Lauper. Olympic champions Shannon Miller and Scott Hamilton co-host the event that helps raise awareness of women’s cancers.
