HGTV currently casting for next “Design Star”

   That is why the cable network has announced a nationwide search for designers, artists and builders who believe that have the design skills and on-camera charisma to host their own show.
   And HGTV is making it simple to try out for Season 4 of “HGTV Design Star.” No need to drive miles to a casting call. Simply click on www.HGTV.com/DesignStar/ for additional information.
   Submissions need to be postmarked by Oct. 31, however. The show will begin its fourth season in summer 2009.
   Previous “HGTV Design Star” winners David Bromstad and Kim Myles have become popular household names with their own weekly series, “Color Splash” and “Myles of Style.” Season 3 winner Jennifer Bertrand has been added to the network’s talent roster and will be seen on HGTV in 2009.

when I click on, http://www.HGTV.com/DesignStar/,.I get a hmmmmm wrong site,,,
also when do you notify the contestants if they have a chance or not, reading some of their comment they all seem to be in the dark. Such a big production, come on, you can do better than that.

I am very excited to start watching the 2009 contest for design star. When does it air this summer? Could you let me know when the next contestant call will be for the 2010 design star competition?

Or could you email me an application because I have a friend that is interested?

Also, what state does the HGTV telecasted?

I was just wondering if there was anyway to see what kind of portfolio that the contestants turned in that got them on the show. I have been thinking about doing it , but sure if my designs are strong enough to get picked.
