Emmy winners get marathons on AMC

AMC is giving viewers a chance to see what all the buzz is about with marathons of the network’s two Emmy-winning dramas, “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad.”
The “Mad Men” marathon will air from 3 to 11 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 25). It will include the first eight episodes of Season 2, with a new episode premiering at 9 p.m. Sunday. The series won Emmys for outstanding drama series and outstanding writing in a drama series.
All seven Season 1 episode of “Breaking Bad” will air back-to-back on Wednesday (Oct. 1) beginning at 7 p.m. Series star Bryan Cranston (in AP Photo above) won the Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his portrayal of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher whose inactive life is suddenly recharged with a medical diagnosis of perilous consequences.
