Oklahoma actress may or may not get Emmy nomination, but she will announce them

daisies.jpg   Broken Arrow native Kristin Chenoweth will announce the nominees for the 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards at 7:40 a.m. Thursday live from the Academy’s Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.

She could be saying her own name, as the “Pushing Daisies” star (pictured in ABC Photo at right) did make the list of finalists for best supporting actress.

Also in the running are Conchata Ferrell (“Two and a Half Men”), Jenna Fischer (“The Office”), Jane Krakowski (“30 Rock”), Judith Light (“Ugly Betty”), Elizabeth Perkins (“Weeds”), Amy Poehler (“Saturday Night Live”), Jean Smart (“Samantha Who?”), Holland Taylor (“Two and a Half Men”) and Vanessa Williams (“Ugly Betty”).

Actually, if Chenoweth is nominated, she probably won’t say her own name. Helping her announce the winners will be Neil Patrick Harris of “How I Met Your Mother.”

The nomination event will not be televised. The 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sept. 21 on ABC.
