Matchmaker, matchmaker make me a TV personality

According to producers of a proposed docudrama, approximately half of all marriages end in divorce while arranged marriages have a success rate estimated at 85 percent.
Those same producers are currently casting for “Arranged Marriage.” The series, from Magical Elves (“Top Chef,” “Project Greenlight,” “Step It Up & Dance”) and Lifetime Television, is seeking men and women who are ready to commit to marriage with a match selected by their closest loved ones.
Cameras will then document the couple’s first year of marriage.
Whereas most of us choose our partners based on chemistry, loved ones usually base matchmaking decisions on shared goals, values, experiences and commitment to the relationship.
