I mention one of the new tracks, “Under the Westway,” in paragraph 3. Coxon left in the early stages of “Think Tank,” and no one worked on anything Blur-related until the first Hyde Park reunion show in 09. Then came “Fool’s Day,” and now we have this ridiculously active 2012, which has been an exciting development for all long-suffering fans.

Stay tuned — tomorrow I’ll be running my review of that new Hyde Park live album, which has been released as “Parklive.”

nice article but Blur have never split up ! They performed last week in Hyde park in front of 80,000 people. Graham coxon left the band but then rejoined . They have released two new songs in 2012 !

Nice review! Although, 13 is my favorite Blur album. So I do disagree on that one aspect of the review.

I’m really looking forward to getting this set.
