You are correct. Makes it even more interesting that Faye probably is seeing Don as marriage material at this point, and is putting in the hours, only to have Megan swoop in like mid-90's Gary Payton with the steal.

I say this as if I have any idea where the show's going. :) If all my expectations had proven to be true this year, Betty would be a sudden widow due to a car crash by now, and Sally would have lost her virginity to the creep down the street.

Actually, I think Faye told him that, right? I mean, it was around the time of Phoebe/Nora Zehetner at the beginning of the season, but I'm pretty sure it was Dr. Miller. Anyone capable of confirmation, please pipe up.

If I had to guess, I think in Season 5 we'll dive right into 1967 and Don and Megan the Sex Robot-Draper in their lovely new Connecticut home.

I may have just been reading into it, but it looked to me like Bert Cooper was looking directly at Roger's hand holding the button as he was faking the phone call. I expected Bert to call him out on it, but his only comment was the zinger he let fly on the way out the door. I like the idea that Bert saw right through him (he's known him since he was a boy, after all), and was just too old and too world-weary to take him to task. The damage was done, after all.

And who would have ever thought Betty would turn out to be only the second most child-like personality this season?

I too liked the parallels this episode between Don and Roger, from the identical ways Jane and Faye pulled their man's arm in to snuggle, to the intercutting of Jane and Roger's domestic "bliss" with Don's seduction by MSR, presumably a graduate of the same school where Jane got her MRS degree.

Remember earlier this year when Don's neighbor told him he would probably be married within a year? I'm thinking that foreshadowing will prove out, with Megan as the bride, because, frankly, Faye is far too mature and dangerous for a moral coward like Don. Were Human/Sex Robot marriages legal in New York in 1965?
