1. Daft Punk, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.” Oh, to have been at this show. Bangalter and Homem-Christo prove it’s possible to create a compelling concert from synthetic music.

5. Common, “The Light.” This is the soul-man Common we love — can we please have the android components removed from RoboCommon and RoboLegend post haste? I mean, ‘Ye makes it work when he hangs with our above-mentioned machines, but it’s not a good fit for everyone at G.O.O.D. Music.
6. Shelby Lynne, “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me.”
7. Albert Hammond Jr., “In My Room.”
8. Clearlake, “No Kind of Life.”
9. Tegan & Sara, “Terrible Storm.”
10. The Bird and the Bee, “Love Letter to Japan.” The first single from Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future sounds like chart material, but done so on Inara and Greg’s own terms.

Didn’t Daft Punk and Kanye perform together a couple of times, including “stronger” at some awards show? Would it be sacrilege to say I wish I had seen that live?
